Retail giant Target is now offering its Drive Up item pickup service in Texas, Florida and other Southern states.

Almost 270 stores in the South now offer the service, in which customers place orders via the Target app, then have items brought to their cars by store workers. Orders arrive within two minutes of a guest parking.

Minneapolis-based Target launched a pilot of the service in the fall. By the end of 2018, the retailer expects 1,000 stores to offer it.

The other Southern states where Drive Up is offered include Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and South Carolina.
