Department store giant Kohl’s will lease unused space in its buildings to German-based discount grocery retailer Aldi.

Aldi will open stores in five to ten of the hundreds of stores Menomonee, Wisconsin-based Kohl’s is downsizing, according to a story in Fortune.

Kohl’s announced in January it was seeking grocery and c-store partners to lease space in its stores. At the time, Kohl’s said it had “right-sized” about 300 of its 87,000-square-foot box stores.

The Aldi stores opening up in the Kohl’s building will be separate from the Kohl’s stores and customers won’t really notice they share the same space, according to the story.
