Heat-and-eat empanadas sold at ShopRite grocery stores in New Jersey have been recalled over an undeclared allergen.

Linden, New Jersey-based Saker ShopRites Inc. recalled about 19,757 pounds of pork and chicken empanadas because they contain egg, which was not listed among the ingredients on the product’s label, according to the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety Inspection Service.

The products, which were produced between Oct. 7 and Feb. 12, were recalled from 29 Saker ShopRite stores in New Jersey.

The recalled products include 6 oz and 9 oz vacuum-packed plastic packages of chicken and pork empanadas.

As of Feb. 14, no injuries related to the mislabeling had been reported.
