Deli meat specialist Columbus Craft Meats has launched two new snack lines.

A snack-sized version of Columbus’s popular Paninos line and a product pairing salami with cheese crisps are the latest offerings from the Hayward, California-based company.

The snack version of Paninos, bite-sized rolls of salami and cheese, features two rolls per pack and comes in four varieties: Genoa Salame, Hot Sopressata, Prosciutto and Italian Dry Salame.

The Salame & Cheese line pairs salami with sourdough cheese crisps and comes in two varieties: Italian Dry Salame and Calabrese Salame.

Columbus launched the products to capitalize on the snacking trend in the U.S. and on the fact that meat snacks are growing four times faster than potato chips, says Joe Ennen, the company’s CEO.

“People continue to replace traditional meals with snacks, and now we offer Columbus’s delicious salami products in a snack size to enjoy while on-the-go,” Ennen says.
